The Ask
Pink Boutique had an existing mobile app with a platform agnostic mobile app developer. They reached out to us as they were experiencing performance issues with their existing app and they were also frustrated by the limited number of integrations available to them. For example, they had just launched Global-e on their online store to help them expand internationally. However, their existing mobile app provider was not able to support an integration with Global-e on their mobile app.
Additionally, Pink Boutique requested a system that would allow them to make regular changes to their homepage and shop navigation as they like to change the look and feel of their online store whenever they launch a new collection, which happens quite regularly. Previously, whenever they wanted to make a change to their app they would have to raise a change request with their existing mobile app provider which could then take weeks to be executed depending on the teams work load.
In summary, Pink Boutique were after an app that could mimic the behaviour and performance of their online store in order to provide customers with a seamless experience; which they could manage themselves.
